Millenium C was foaled December 31, 1999 and was imported from Argentina to the USA in December 2003. He was only started under saddle in October 2003 and a few short months later made a fantastic debut in the hunter ring by taking Champion or Reserve most times out. In 2007 he debuted in the 3'6" hunters by winning Champion or Reserve Champion almost every time out. "Miles" won the Amateur Owner Hunter New Jersey State Championship and tied for high point for the Junior Amateur Owner Hunter State Championship. He is the winner both over fences and under saddle as he is a beautiful mover with an impeccable jumping style. He is very calm and relaxed by nature and should produce very flashy and correct foals…as his first has proven to be! His bloodlines are very well balanced and include such reputable stallions as Almé Z, Zeus and Grannus. Zeus has presented numerous top international competition horses and sired over 31 approved stallions in multiple European Warmblood registries. There were 6 Zeus offspring that participated in the 1995 World Cup Finals. Grannus was a hugely important sire, he had 11 licensed stallions registered with the Hanoverian breed alone and worldwide some 80 approved sons. He bred 540 daughters who are registered broodmares, of which 46 received State Premium awards. Showjumping stars by Grannus include Grannusch (John Whitaker), Grand Plaisir (Ludger Beerbaum), Burmah Grand Slam (Nick Skelton), Top Gun La Silla (Jan Tops), and many others. Almé Z was one of the most significant sires of the twentieth century and most certainly the first who deserves the title of "Euro-stallion". Without ever having stood at stud in Germany, the 1966 French born Ibrahim son influenced almost all the German warmblood breeds from the Belgian model studfarm of Zangersheide. Almé Z was himself a successful international showjumper with Francois Mathy and Johan Heins and transmitted his gift for jumping lavishly to his progeny. |
